More on July 4th parade:
Where: *#83 in the parade.* ("Progressive Group") If driving,
come to southwest entrance of E-14 lot, on Oak St. near St. Mary's Road.
When: We're asked to *check in by 10am. * Some of us will be
there that early, others could come later. I'd say *please**arrive by
10:45 /at latest/* - we'll have a bunch of signs, and will need time to
put away any that aren't being used, before the parade starts moving
around 11am.
Weather: Mild! Forecast is for upper 70s, dry, light winds. It
will be sunny, so hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water are still worth having.
Signs: We'll have some, or bring your own.
Flag: As Karen mentioned, Doug Clough is offering use of his
wonderful peace flag! Who'd like to carry it?
Handouts: No, we can't hand out flyers while marching. (We could
hand out candy to people willing to take it from our hands, but I'm not
suggesting we do that.)
