[Peace] Progressive Fest Needs You!

SDaS, Occupy, Peace:


 I am writing to invite you to join me in an exciting progressive
renaissance in Champaign-Urbana. You are invited to the Spring 2014 Progressive
Fest , this Sat, Mar 18, 6PM   at the University YMCA. This is an
opportunity for all of us-- environmentalists, social justice organizations,
 workers' rights activists, and others --to speak to each other and build
coalitions.  Our organizations are strong, but together we are stronger!

Can you feel our collective power?  Will you join me?

Guest panelists and attendees include members from environmental
groups  including
SECS (Students for Environmental Concerns), the Sierra Club, and Prairie
Rivers Network; labor organizations  including the Campus Faculty
Association, the GEO, Jobs with Justice, the Campus Labor Coalition and
others; and social justice organizations  including the C-U Immigration
Forum and C-U Citizens for Peace & Justice.
