Today the nation’s eyes are on Baltimore where black people have set off an
uprising against police violence in response to the murder of Freddie Gray.

Only a week ago we learned that the police office that murdered Rekia Boyd
will walk free.  Black people around the country are resisting years of
deprivation and insult.  We stand by and with them, determined to resist
status quo calls for peace when there is no justice.

Tonight Baltimore United for Change, Black Lives Matter, and Ferguson
Action are holding a call to lift up the stories of Freddie Gray and Rekia
Boyd, hear reports from the ground, and call for a national action this
weekend.
