Wednesday, February 11, 2015
5:30pm
Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana-Champaign // 309 W. Green St.,
Urbana, IL 61801

A discussion of protest rights led by the Illinois ACLU, hosted by the
Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana-Champaign.

In 2014 this community and the country witnessed passionate displays of
civil protest by young and old alike.

Equip yourself with knowledge for 2015!

Some of what we'll discuss:
- What to do if arrested
- Common grounds for arresting protesters
- Recording police
- Blocking traffic
- Targeted sidewalk demonstrations
- Exceptions to the freedom of speech

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana-Champaign is located at the
corner of Green & Birch near the Lincoln Square Garage, a Green line CUMTD
bus stop is just steps from our door.

This event is free and open to the public.
