There will be no meeting of the AWARE reading group reading "Kill Chain” this week, Thanksgiving week.

The next meeting will be Thursday, December 3, at 6pm at 5 Litchfield Lane, Champaign.

The more we get into the book, the more important it seems to be, about how this administration (and the next) will continue to kill people around the world.

A small (4) but intense group debated the matter last time. Join us on the 3rd if you like, even if you haven’t read the book.

We’ll tell you about it. —CGE

Claud Cockburn’s THE DEVIL’S DECADE [1973] is rivaled only by Nicholson Baker’s HUMAN SMOKE: THE BEGINNINGS OF WORLD WAR II, THE END OF CIVILIZATION [2008] as an account of the politics leading to WWII.)
