"The transportation sector is responsible for nearly 30 percent of green house gas emissions in the U.S.,making it the largest single contributor. Our country’s reliance on petroleum-fueled vehicles and planes as our primary means of moving cargo is the main cause. It also contributes to a number of other avoidable environmental health and safety issues. In this presentation, Rich Whitney will review the reliance, review some alternatives, and propose a much healthier approach to meeting our transportation needs. "
