[Peace] Politico: Biden threatens Iran with military force

*BIDEN TALKS TOUGH: *On Thursday night, Joe Biden attended a small
fundraiser at the NYC home of his longtime friend, American Jewish Congress
President Jack Rosen, per our colleague Daniel Lippman.

In brief remarks, Biden went on to take a contrary position to Rosen on the
Iran nuclear deal (Biden supports it; Rosen opposes) but sources overheard
Biden go further than expected:

*"I would go back and try to pull back together* the international
community to in fact insist that we keep the second part of the [Iran]
agreement, which is to enforce by military means if need be actions against
destabilizing actions by the Quds Force and Iran in the Gulf."

Asked for comment, a Biden adviser told POLITICO: "The Administration's
always made clear that the Iran agreement did not constrain us from
countering Iran's malign activity in the region."
