Hello!

Tomorrow, September 14, we are hosting the forum "US Imperialism, Colonialism, and the Assault on Immigrants".

The racist assault on immigrants has deep roots in the white supremacist history of the United States.  Racism and exclusionary immigrant policies are woven into the fabric of this country's history.  We will discuss how US imperialism and intervention in Latin America has led to worsening conditions for the people living there, and has forced many to migrate.  Once here, they find brutal treatment and detention instead of the refuge they deserve.

We will be collecting donations, and all proceeds will go toward assisting undocumented, unaccompanied minors in Champaign-Urbana.
