I thought Biden & son should be investigated when I learned about their Ukrainian connection some time ago, but it wasn't until it became common knowledge due to the "whistleblower's" revelation (hope he fares better than Seth Rich), and after Joe Biden began to slip in the polls DNC decided to go to the rescue for their anointed candidate that Pelosi knuckled under to the impeachment call.  They better hope for a better outcome than the Mueller Report.

University of Illinois Professor of International Law Francis Boyle added that the decision by the House Democrats to go ahead with impeachment involved a significant element of political bluster or bluff.
