[Peace] Karen's Letter on Slaughtering Urbana's Geese

Exactly. We created an inviting and predator-free space for the geese, so we need to use our big problem-solving brains to devise a humane and sustainable solution to the problem we created. Rounding up wild geese while they are flightless and shipping them to a slaughterhouse is neither humane nor sustainable. Fortunately, other communities have solved their goose problem and all we need to do is emulate them.

She ties it up into everything else going on in the world today including Covid-19 and US Wars around the world. I don’t live in Urbana. But it seems to me that Urbana should give a reprieve to their geese as an Affirmation of Life. Something we need these dark days for sure. In any event, well done Karen!” Congrats! Fab.
