Join us in demanding that rent and mortgages be cancelled! Biden's call for a moratorium on evictions is not enough. The jobs have not come back, so we should not have mounting bills to pay! When the system puts profits over people, it's us workers and oppressed people who suffer. We won't take it any longer, we need a new and better system. Demand the cancellation of rents and mortgages with us on Saturday January 30th at 1pm!
In addition, this event will also launch the campaign of Colin Dodson, a long time community member and organizer in Urbana, for their run for Urbana City Council, representing Ward 2. If you live in Urbana, especially in Ward 2, stay for their campaign announcement speech, and join in the discussion for how Urbana can benefit us all.
