LOCALIZE the movement for GLOBAL JUSTICE Tuesday, September 26!

We want a world where no child goes hungry, where workers have the right
to organize without fear, where access to health care is determined by
medical need. We want a world where everyone has clean air to breathe and
clean water to drink and where funding for free public education isn't
questioned.

The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund promote and impose
policies that foster union-busting; environmental abuse; indebtedness;
sweatshops; privatization of health care, education, and water; and
corporate control over our lives.

The power of these institutions to deprive people around the world of
their basic human rights must be eliminated. The power of working people
around the world to democratically determine their own path to development
must be dramatically enhanced.

As protestors demand these things at the meetings of the World Bank and
International Monetary Fund in Prague, we will be joining over 50 cities
around the U.S. and dozens more throughout the world in organizing for a
humane, democratic society at home.

Youre invited to a Carnival Against Capital, a Teach-in about the IMF and
World Bank, and a Community Forum about the 2000 Elections.
