Hi Hannah, Kate, and everyone-

Hi! Sorry for not getting in touch with anyone from Prometheus other than
Petri so far. I'm having trouble keeping up with the high-volume
communication. Just to give you context, I am working 60+ hours/wk trying
to whip our local food co-op into shape and it is very demanding and has
first priority on my time ('cuz heck they're paying me!) I feel a little
crazy for volunteering for this barnraising but I really want it to happen
and happen well. I have the resources and experience that should be
utilized but time is sparse so I have to use it well.

So......... that bein' said, here's an update:

KITCHEN
I have lined up a kitchen for Saturday and Sunday. We can use the Red
Herring Restaurant's kitchen. Friday we cannot have exclusive access since
they have a Friday night dinner and cook all day to prepare for it. So,
we have to make alternate plans for Friday. Here are some options:

1) We get an alternate kitchen for Friday.
Possibilities - (in descending order of preference)
 	a. UPCC kitchen - have to share with the Co-op staff
 	b. we potluck it amongst personal kitchens
 	c. my kitchen

2) We all join the Red Herring for their Friday night dinner.
 	a. we tell them we're coming and they cook for us. yum.
good food, good folks, very accomodating
 	cost =	$8.50 per person
 	b. we offer labor to help them make their friday night dinner and
supply ingredients to try to get the cost down to $4ish per
 	person.

First option requires transporting food, second requires transporting
people.

SERVING EQUIPMENT
-I know the kitchen and the manager at RHVR and they can loan us their
equipment over the weekend. We need to return it Sunday night so that they
will have in Monday. I will spec out all the equipment in person later
this week to determine what all is available and easily transported
to IMC for serving.

-We need to follow up with Herriot's about donations. Lynsee?

TABLES & CHAIRS
Someone needs to do the following:
-Call Deborah Owen at McKinley Fnd. and get rental rates
-Call the University YMCA and get rental rates
-Call Angela at Homeworks and see if they anything we can use

I have wanted to do these things since I know all these folks but haven't
had time. I can help arrange pick-up but someone needs to make these
calls.

Please take a straw poll about the Friday dinner option and let me know. I
can't make the mtg tonight b/c I am at work. I know Petri favors staying
at IMC for the ease of the out of town participants. Working with the RHVR
would be way easier on me but not if it doesn't work to get everyone
there. Let me know the preference and I can work it out either way.

Thanks!
Molly
