What we need from Prometheus:

- recruiting participants - who is coming to this thing? - we need an 
invite to forward
- volunteer survey to start circulating
- housing request e-mail to forward (plain text) and housing board with 
info about what is expected.
- budget for entertainment - Shows group needs to know to book people.
- advice about timeline

Engineering - good news!
-----------------------
- We need to get a special use permit from the City.  The City requires 
sign off from a licensed engineer to look at attaching our 35 foot antenna 
to the roof.
- Bids for engineering were $1500-3000 - yikes!
- We got a engineer who is offering to do it PRO BONO - YEA!!
- Mike believes problem is solved. Has blueprints, has  photographs of 
roof/ceiling area. Has volunteer engineer - may have minor charges for 
expenses. Hope to have in to the city by end of the month at latest.
- really need to submit to the city by 9/23 to give them 3 weeks before it 
goes to plan commission on 10/13 and council 10/17 which is the LATEST it 
can go before council

Visiting volunteers

- Eric from Ghana: interested in visiting for barnraising and staying for 
up to a year. Do we have ability to  support a longer visit? Bill will 
follow up on this.
- Carlos: Primary Communications Project is sponsoring him.  He has funds 
for half his travel and needs several hundred more dollars.  Suggested 
sources welcome.
- Sheila Bishop is also coming from Gainesville, FL CMC Oct - Dec and 
helping with barnraising.  She needs housing.

Food: Molly and Lynsee

- # meals: 6 - friday dinner through sunday lunch plus water, coffee, and 
snacks at all times.
- Budget for food: $500-750 total (Prometheus #s)
- UU or Channing Kitchen - Molly is asking
- Menu - Molly has draft - we will tailor to what food we can get
- Canning workshop on Sept 18th @ IDF - will make tomato sauce for pasta
- Coop giving freezer to Stuart who will hold 
- Mirabelle bread - Molly will collect regularly and freeze
- Coffee - Lynsee is seeking carafs or grinds
- Kaylx has coffee pot
- Veggies and supplies - Lynsee is calling Schnucks and Myers for gift 
certificates
- Paneras offered pastries
- Figure out dishwashing issue - use disposables?
- Mugs with RFU printed on it for all registrants - Molly will ask cost 
for 500 mugs - could Prometheus front the money and pay back out of.  IMC 
bought mugs from Atlas Pen and Pencil - FYI.

- Danielle has a project plan - should be done by end of Oct. with lots of 
sweat, love, and patience by everyone for her passionate persistence.
- Do It Best will give 25% supplies and any mismatched paint - yea!!
- Lowe's, Menards, Farm and Fleet, and Sunnycrest True Value might give
- Bill: Consider penalties for being late for contractor to ensure it is 
done on time

- Jumers offering group rate of $65? for a double
- Crash space - Sascha find a space
- Kaylx has crash space 30 minutes away with a bon fire
- We need a housing board and e-mail requesting folks to sign up - ask 
Prometheus

- Tables and chairs - Lynsee asking Herriots, McKinley (Deborah Owen) & 
YWCA
- Kaylx has some tables and chairs - we need to find more.
