Dear all,

Hope you all had a great thanksgiving. Here is what is going on with
Community Justice on the home stretch!

BOOKS TO PRISONERS
We are headed to the Independent Media Center on Saturday to fill requests
for books from Illinois' prisoners. We will meet at 1:45 at the Union circle
drive and then return around 4. This is a great opprotunity before the
holiday season and you really make a difference in the daily life of a
prisoner who may think society is begining to lose hope in their
rehabilitation. RSVP to Grace, gjpark2 at uiuc.edu

PRSION PEN PALS

Now is a great time to write your pen pal before studying begins to pile up.
Some great topics include:
-Stories from your thanksgiving break/dinner.
-Final's stress
-Holiday Season musings

Remember to use your pseudonym throughout and use the VIP office as your
return address.

You can pick up a new pen pal packet on the VIP office door (2nd floor

of the Union in the RSO Complex). Just be sure to fill out a 1/4 sheet

contact form also in the folder and leave it either in the Community

Justice mailbox inside the office or in the folder marked "community

justice form return".

Thanks everyone!

Gail
