[Vip-daycare] Another Wonderful Special Event!

Hey Guys,

Now that the year is underway, so are the volunteering opportunities.  Here
is another one that would be a great experience:

Saturday October 28, 2006 from 6 pm to 9pm
Halloween Funfest at Market Place Mall.

Come and help in the festivities as the Mall is hosting the Halloween
Funfest for the first time in many years.  There will be various games set
up to allow the children to win free candy.  Also, they will be having a DJ
blasting the latest Halloween mixes as well as a costume contest.  In
addition, the kids will be allowed to trick-or-treat at the stores that are
willing to participate.

They need volunteers to help run the games and dressing up in a costume is
encouraged.  Groups will need to come in to decorate and set up their game
booth between 2pm and 5pm. They will provide the games and the decorations.
Once their games are set, volunteers can leave and come back at 5:40pm in
order to begin running their games promptly at 6pm. This can be done in
shifts (i.e. some sign up to just get the booth ready and others sign up to
run the game) or the same people can work the entire event—its up to you.

If you could let me know if you want to participate by October 20, 2006 that
would be greatly appreciated.  It should be a fun time and should not cut
into the Halloween festivities here at the U of I.
