Participating in these events supports "at risk" babies and little children
having a safe haven at Crisis Nursery while their parents receive crisis
counseling and parent education. A special thanks to Radio Maria, Monical's
Pizza and Greek Community Service for hosting events to benefit Crisis
Nursery.

*Kids 4 Kids: Closing Reception and Auction of Children's Artwork

Hosted by: Radio Maria Restaurant and Tapas Bar
January 25, 2009

Enjoy a night out and purchase a unique piece of art! Proceeds from the art
auction benefit Crisis Nursery. The artworks were created as a collaboration
by children from Champaign and Monticello Schools and artist David Spears.
The natural beauty of children's art is amplified by Spears' exciting and
inventive presentation in old window frames donated by the Preservation and
Conservation Association.

You have two auction opportunities:

· Silent Auction of Children's Artwork currently on display on the walls of
Radio Maria. The Silent Auction ends at 8:00 pm on January 25, 2009. Please
stop by Radio Maria's tapas bar to view the choices and BID!
· Live Auction of new Children's Artwork on Sunday, January 25, 2009, 6-8
pm. Please attend and BID!

Enjoy the Closing Reception and Auction with friends and family in this
great venue! Children are very welcome. Radio Maria will be offering a
complimentary cheese platter. The tapas menu and beverages from the bar will
be available for purchase. A representative from Crisis Nursery will be on
hand to celebrate children helping children.

Help the children and families served by Crisis Nursery by eating pizza,
pasta, salads and other Monical's menu items anytime on Monday, Feb. 16th at

*Crisis Nursery & Greek Community Service Dodgeball Tournament
Saturday, March 7, 2009*

Be alive! Join the fun! Organize a team! Just $100 a team to play. Dodgeball
is a nontraditional sport that requires minimal equipment, set up and
playing experience. Team work and strategy count more in dodgeball than
athletic skill and individual competitiveness. Anyone can play!

All proceeds from our third annual Dodgeball Tournament will benefit Crisis
Nursery. This event is jointly sponsored by Crisis Nursery and the U of I's
Greek Community Service. We're also in need of more sponsors for the

The event will be held at *CRCE (Campus Recreation Center East)* Gym on the
U of I Campus. The first game will begin at 11:00 a.m. Participants must be
