[Vip-daycare] Summer Volunteer Opportunity!

[VIP Daycare]

Hey Guys!

For those of you who are interested, here's a great opportunity to volunteer
during the summer. It's a *one day* commitment, on *May 21st 2011* at the *Lake
of the Woods in Mahomet, IL. *



Camp Healing Heart is a grief camp for children between 7 & 17 who have lost
a loved one due to death. The camp administrators are looking for college
ages students to become a buddy to their campers, for the day.

Buddies must be at camp by 7:00 am and should be able to check out by 5:30.
Buddies are with the camper from the time they arrive at camp until they
leave to head for home.  Becoming a buddy does require 4 hours of training
on Children and Grief that is held at the Carle Home Services office here in
Champaign.


If you're going to be in the CU area and this sounds like something up your
alley, then please email me before *April 21st 2011* so I put in a request
for applications. Applications must be turned in prior to *May 1, 2011 *as
training sessions begin Saturday, April 30, 2011.
