[Vip-recreation] weekend volunteer events

HEY!

My name is Kristina Franke and I am the new Recreation 
Director for VIP.  I hope everyone had a relaxing and 
enjoyable winter vacation!  

Start off the semester by having some fun with kids:)  Here 
is what is happening this weekend.

***Champaign County Aquachiefs is having a swim meet this 
weekend (1/20-1/22) at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center.  
Come help time the races and cheer on the kids!  They 
need a lot of volunteers for this event.  Here are the times 
you can help out:  Friday 5:45pm-8:30pm, Saturday 8:15am-
12pm, 1:15pm-5:30pm, and Sunday 8:15am-12pm.  Email Kristina

***Champaign County YMCA has Afterhours this Saturday (1/21) 
from 7pm-10pm.  Come play basketball with junior high kids 
and get free pizza!  Email Ryan (files at uiuc.edu) if 
interested!

***Champaign County YMCA Parents Night Out is this Friday 
(1/20) from 6-9:30pm.  Come play board games, do arts and 
crafts, and watch a movie with kids while their parents get 
a little alone time.  Email Willa (weiderma at uiuc.edu) if 
interested!
