Hello my wonderful and faithful volunteers, i hope everyone had a great
weekend and here are the weekly volunteer opportunities:

Wednesday April 11, 2007: This is the last chance to help out with bowling
this week. Calling all volunteers who have gone through the CUSR
orientation, please come out and volunteer for their last week of bowling.
The car will leave circle drive at 3:30pm and the event lasts from 4-5:15pm.

*Help Fight Poverty! THIS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY!*

The Hunger and Homelessness Project has an awesome event coming up Wednesday
and Thursday, April 11 and 12 from 10-2 on the quad that they need
volunteers for. It's a part of an advocacy campaign to help fight poverty,
especially rural and international (for information see Bread for the World
at bread.org).We'll be writing and calling our representatives and senators,
and all the materials and instructions will be provided. Volunteers just
need to man the booth for 1 or 2 hour shifts. Help us raise awareness for
these great causes!we are also raffling off expresso royale gift

Friday April 13, 2007: The YMCA will be having their superstar night from
6-8pm. If your interested please contact yacoob syed at ysyed2 at uiuc.edu to
confirm your attendance. The van will leave circle drive at 5:45pm.

*Champaign Early Childhood Center April Fun* *Day-  THIS FRIDAY April 13th*

Volunteers are needed to help students aged 3-5 and their families by
running carnival games-including a moonwalk! It's a ton of fun- especially
to work with the little kids! Volunteers are needed from either 8:45-11:10
or 12:45-3:10, however these times can be broken down into smaller shifts...
any time you can commit would be great! Please contact flamand2 at uiuc.edu to
coordinate shifts and transportation.
