1. The Single Parent Scholarship Foundation is once again participating
in the Bergner's Community Day event. We need volunteers to help sell the
$5.00 coupon booklets.  Each booklet contains one $5.00 coupon and six 20%
off coupons to use towards merchandise at Bergners.  The last day for the
fundraiser is November 22, which is the day that you use the coupons. All
proceeds will be used to help fund single parents college expenses.  The
more donations we receive, the more single parents we can help. If you
are interested in volunteering to help sell the booklets, or would just
like to make a donation to receive a booklet, email Maria Thompson at
spsf at soltec.net.

2. A Woman's Place in Urbana IL is offering a 40 Hour Training on
domestic violence against women and children.  The training will be held
at the Domestic Violence Shelter (1304 E Main St.) in Urbana IL, during

you will receive a return phone call.  Thank you.
