1. MAKE A DIFFERENCE DRIVE AND SERVICE OUTREACH
Each year, the Office of Volunteer Programs puts on the Make A Difference Drive, a two-week long donation drive for items like toiletries and school supplies. The drive benefits ten human service agencies across Champaign County. This year, the Office of Volunteer Programs is including Service Outreach Days in the Make A Difference Drive. Those who are participating in the Make A Difference Drive can earn extra points by volunteering at one of the Service Outreach times listed below. For those who are not participating in the competition, volunteering at these agencies is still a great way to get involved in the community. Please contact the agency or the Office of Volunteer Programs if you wish to volunteer. You can call the Office at 333-7424 or e-mail ovp at uiuc.edu. Your help is greatly appreciated.
