I agree there Beth. The Library group had an old procedure (back when folks
were still at the old IMC space) that anything to be discarded would get
placed in a public space, announced as free on the appropriate lists, and
discarded after a certain time frame (specified in the announcement).  Since
production/print are overseeing that space, go for it.

Brian Duggan and I recently got rid of a bunch of old tech junk by doing
just that.  If no one speaks up then it's gone.  A lost & found at teh IMC
would be good as long as it didn't get overloaded. And it would need to get
emptied now & then regardless. Case in point, the box outside the production
room...
