Hi-

So it sounds like Chris will review and call/email with questions, then create the new list.

Because events already exists, the only list that needs to be created is
membership at ucimc.org

Then:
-all current members get added to the membership list
-everyone on the current imc at ucimc list will be put on the events list
-everyone who is not a spoke will be removed from the imc at ucimc list

I recommend that the lists be announced on saturday at the meeting and in an email on sunday, but that no one is moved until Monday so that everybody has a chance to hear the news. Also, that there be reminder emails in a week to the lists to reiterate that they have changed.

I can send an email to the lists explaining what is happening. The only glitch I anticipate is inviting invested people onto the spokes/imc list, but it will all go well.

Go team!
E

Awesome. Yes, this is a good proposal. And I was thinking about the need to clean up our mailing lists at the meeting last night. The events list is already alive and I moderate it. We would just need to migrate ppl from the IMC list (which I believe Mike Lehman moderates) to the events list. And, we would have to remove ppl from the IMC list if they are not "spokes."

I'll be happy to work on this on Saturday or sooner, if there is a need for us all to get together.

Nicole

This list is where member issues can be referred to, or where topics get 'hashed out' before a proposal is put to the membership/steering. This is also where the question to the imc would be sent and disbursed to the appropriate working group.
