Andreas-

I don't think we ever heard from you- can you confirm whether or not you were still interested in working with the IMC?

Thanks,
Elizabeth

Hi Andreas-

The best connection point for this is probably the community connections meeting, which is wednesdays at 6pm. Would you or another member of your team be able to attend?

To the groups- if you want their help, please let me know and we'll make sure you get connected.

Subject: [IMC] university of illinois project

Hello UC-IMC!

My name is Andreas Geissler, I am from Austria and I am currently studying as an exchange student at the University of Illinois. I received the name of your organisation from one of my teachers at the school of social work.

I am presently working with a team of five students in a communications class, and our main objective is to assist a non-for-profit organization by solving one of its challenges, and to develop possible solutions. For example, a group last semester worked with the YMCA and helped them develop a YouTube page.

As I researched your website, I realised that UC-IMC consists of several working Groups. We would be especially interested to work with Outreach, Print or Production. As far as I know, another group from our class has already contacted the Books to Prisoners group? If not, we would be also interested in assisting this group!

The assistance that we could offer to you would probably be on a theoretical level, although the actual process of our cooperation would be flexible and could be adapted. I know the explanation of our service project is a little vaguely expressed, as we don’t have much information yet about the needs of your organisation. Maybe it would be a good idea if the UC-IMC groups could discuss if they would like to work with us, and than we could clarify the possible cooperation together. My team could also visit UC-IMC, so that we could personally speak with each other.
If you are interested in working with us, or if you have any questions, please contact me on this email address. We would be very happy to hear from you!

Yours sincerely,

Andreas Geissler
