[CUWiN-Dev] 0.5.4, a space epic

We had planned to release 0.5.4 Monday but were unable to meet that goal.
Ultimately 0.5.4 will be used by Zach and Sascha to upgrade nodes on the
network and so the images must pass Zach's tests (they did not pass on
Monday).  Last night, Dave found a source of an Atheros IBSS merging bug
which brings us closer to having the release work done, IMO.

Zach, Sascha, can we come together to finish 0.5.4 in time to salvage the
week for both of you to do upgrades?
