You need to start by porting hslsd to Linux.  It shouldn't be hard.
Telcordia has done it before.  They may be able to send us patches.

Please hide the OS differences beneath a thin abstraction layer.
For example, take a look at how I have hidden differences between IPv4 &
IPv6 sockaddrs in trunk/src/ssrv/.

CUWiN is tightly integrated with NetBSD.  CUWiN does not publish a
Linux distribution.
