WPA is typically only supported using wpa_supplicant which is not part of
the node software.  WEP should work, however.  Instructions for freebsd can
be found here:
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/network-wireless.html
specifically Section 27.3.3.1.4 WEP.  These instructions should be similar
to NetBSD.

As far as I know, the software has not been tested using encryption of any
sort, so your mileage may vary.
