All:

I just realized that the RAGG Weekend (05/14-05/15) is the same weekend as
my sister's high school graduation.  I will not be here that weekend; I will
be in New Orleans.

I am a member of the event comittee for that weekend and plan to be a
**SIGNIFICANT** contributor of time and energy, but I won't be here on the
weekend itself to make sure all the parts I'm responsible for come off
properly.  There are two ways to handle this:

1. I just write out damn-good instructions to leave behind for other members
of the committee.  The advantage - we keep the date.  The disadvantage - we
lose me, and I'm a work-horse; I'd also be sad and depressed, as the opening
weekend of RAGG is very important to me.

2. We change the date of the weekend - move it back one week (05/21-05/22).
The disadvantage - we change the date AGAIN.  The advantage - we gain me,
and I'm a work-horse; and I won't be sad and depressed.

Since I was still on maternity leave when the date was set, I don't know how
hard it was to set it.  Changing it may be totally out of the question, but
I thought I'd through it out there...
