[RAGG-Core] URGENT - Parking Deck Issues

All:

Just got a call from the city of Urbana, and they do not allow any events to
be held in/on the parking deck.  However, they can offer us the parking lot
of Lincoln Square Mall at the corner of Illinois and Broadway - they even
have installed an electric box there for people to be able to have these
outdoor events.

If we use the parking lot at Lincoln Square, we should probably not have the
folk show inside OJC - it's too far from one half of the party to the other,
and we'll have to staff two separate places simlutaneously (or at least
overlapping).  Our options are:

1. Have the whole thing outside at Lincoln Square - both live performer and
DJ.  BENEFITS: We're all in one place and highly visible. DISADVANTAGES: We
need to come up with a bad weather back-up plan, some folk artists may
prefer not to use their instruments outside, it will be hard to collect
money there (no real point of entry), we'll have bathroom issues (may have
to rent portalet).

2. Try to get Tony Stephens at the mall to donate indoor space for us to use
along with the parking lot.  BENEFITS: We get a bad-weather back up plan,
we're all in one place, at least part of our show is highly visible.
DISADVANTAGES:  The mall is large and will likely overwhelm our crowd, Tony
is not really likely to give us space for free, we may still have money
collection problems (too many points of entry).

3. Have the whole thing inside at OJC.  BENEFITS:  We're all in one place,
we can easily collect money at two points of entry, the atmosphere is cozy
and the right size for our crowd, we get bathrooms *and* a kitchen for food
prep, it's free.  DISADVANTAGES:  We get complaints from our downstairs
neighbors when we dance, as things on their ceiling shake.  This may mean
that we can't actually have a DJ inside the OJC space.  As the DJ is
currently the only thing even partially booked for the show, we probably
don't want to eliminate her....

to the city by tomorrow (FRIDAY).
