Hi everyone,

How are applications looking? How long do we want to extend the deadline
I've been posting it to at least the 25th.

Thanks SO much, Suzanne for posting to Smile Politely. Once we decide on
the deadline change, we can just post a comment with the extension.

I've just updated the IMC site to make the application process more clear
and explain the benefits: (
http://ucimc.org/content/ucimc-hire-8-state-americorps-fall-applications-requested).
Please take a look at the new text.

Also, I have linked the BTP to their site and TBP to their site (both sites
should be updated once we decide how long to extend the deadline and could
also be edited with the new "how to apply" info). For the other listings I
have created links to other articles on the IMC homepage, where the entire
job description is posted. I think this will really help.

Below is a list of links and passwords/usernames for websites I have used
for posting the positions. Now all groups will be able to
edit/update/re-post the position descriptions:

UIUC Career Center: https://tcc-uiuc-csm.symplicity.com/employers/
nicole at ucimc.org / 202bwy
After you log in, click the tab for "jobs" and all the IMC jobs will
appear. Just click on the job you wish to edit.

Parkland Career center email: nicole at ucimc.org, log in: ucimc password:
jobs
http://www.collegecentral.com/CCNEngine/SELogin.CFM?UnivCode=PRK

Craiglist can be done pretty easily by individuals. If your job is not
posted there, please add it! A quick search today did not show any IMC jobs
listed. Some of them were deleted and I"m not sure why (maybe they were
confused an thought that these were volunteer positions, so I suggest
including the updated benefits of service blurb). I'll try to repost for
the building coordinator position but I encourage everyone to repost here.

I'm trying to reset my NAMAC (National Alliance for Media, Arts & Culture)
user/pass word and will send it out shortly.

I would like to hand over some of this recruiting over to the groups doing
the hiring since I really need to shift my focus to fundraising.

Thanks,

Nicole
