Good morning All,

Here's a great opportunity for our programs to share information and recruit
members at the upcoming Volunteer Fair at Parkland College.  I'd like to
confirm this as an activity for our members.  Please let me know if your
working group/organization would like to participate in this recuriting
opportunity.  We can disseminate our various informational brochures.

Hello,

Parkland College is hosting a Volunteer Fair on Monday September 13th. The
fair will be in the College Center (the heart of campus) from 10:30-1:00. We
will have 24 tables set up for local agencies and non-profits to recruit
volunteers. Hopefully this time will allow for students from Parkland to
come out and see some of the opportunities they have to get involved in the
community.

We have an a huge response from agencies and have currently filled the 24
tables. I do  have a wait list for agencies that would like to be involved
in case a confirmed agency can not make it. I would gladly add you to the
wait list for the fair if you would like.

If you would like I can also post information on our website and student
portal about the possibilities of volunteering with the Independent Media
Center and about the AmeriCorps positions. Are you currently recruiting for
the VISTA positions? Are there other opportunities for students to volunteer
with the center?

If you have any other questions, please let me know. I would be happy to add
you to our wait list and post information on our site for you. Have a good
