[IMC-US] imc-us vs. imc-us-process -- quick clarification:

Hi all,

Good point Sheri, let me clarify the difference between the imc-us and
imc-us-process lists:

The IMC-US-Process at lists.indymedia.org e-mail list is a place to discuss
issues, concerns, ideas, plans, etc. that are of importance to (m)any
US-based IMC(s).

The IMC-US at ucimc.org list is a list for folks to discuss issues concerning
the new IMC-US -- which is a single IMC.

It can definitely be confusing, but it'll help if one just keeps in mind
that IMC-US-Process is an inter-IMC communications list while IMC-US is an
intra-IMC communications list.

Finally, anyone working with US-based IMCs and who wants to work on IMC-US
is welcome to join the affinity group (just send an e-mail to
imc-us at ucimc.org). The IMC-US has just finished the process of applying
to become an "official" IMC. We're working on mock-ups for the site --
and we're still looking for techies who want to help with the effort (just
send an e-mail to imc-us-tech at ucimc.org) if you want to help. The current
mock-up is available at: us.michiganimc.org

Let me know if there are any further questions,

--Sascha
