[IMC-US] intro, Bradley

Hello,

       My name is Bradley and I am part of the Santa Cruz IMC collective. 
SC-IMC has been using dadaIMC software for a while now, and I am
pretty familar with publishing text, photos, and i just posted
audio for the first time a couple days ago.

      I have been an editor using both active and dadaIMC and have learned
how they are similar and different. For example, dadaIMC gives the
journalist the option of publishing their media directly to a media
gallery (as in the cancun imc...). A nother difference is the way
features can be created and edited. I would love to share my
experiences with other users of dadaIMC to help us all get our media
displayed (both in terms of sound and visual) the way we want it to.

       Speaking of media, i like to take photographs and publish them on
indymedia, and i was wondering why their are pages/collectives for
audio, video, and print, but not ones for photos... And an email i
read calling for media in miami asked for a wide assortment of
collectives, but not a photo collective specifically. I wonder why
that is??? Anyways, I would love to learn and share about
photography and other media production such as audio (and finding
the "industry standard" audio editor for a mac!!!)
