[IMC-US] fundraiser/loan question

I have a general question:  

The St. Louis IMC server was being hosted for free at a local company who is now moving and not wanting to host us.  Our tech people have been working to find a space that will/can host us but we need a 1U rack unit/server and the cost will be $300 - $500.  We are looking at the Seattle Community Colocation Project( http://seaccp.org/ ). (I'm unsure of technical details on all of this.  We have three techies who are doing this research, I just get to find a way to provide the money!)

HERE'S THE QUESTION:  Does anyone know of any microloans available for a very short period of time?  Does anyone have any recommendations on how to raise money rather quickly?  Any good tricks that work well in other locations?
