hello peoples,

The Salinas Public Libraries may close in July, 2005 according to an
interview by KCRW (Santa Monica, Ca) with Anna Caballero, Mayor of
Salinas. People can listen to the interview here:
http://santacruz.indymedia.org/newswire/display/13749/index.php
(see the first comment....)

I went ahead and promoted the article on sc-imc about the Salinas Library!
http://santacruz.indymedia.org/feature/display/13739/index.php

It would be nice (you know what i mean....) to get more local features
about Library Closures since, "Buffalo, New York will start closing all 52
of its libraries next Tuesday {12/7/04}. Public libraries in 41 states are
reducing staffs, cutting their operating hours and closing branches."

Anyone know what happened in Buffalo?
Has anyone seen other IMC coverage about Public library closures?
If so, please send an email or post a comment/article on sc-imc (-;

sincerely,
Bradley
