Egads... I'm really not big on the inclusion of the amerikkan flag, even
if it's as a protestors bandana... I like the collage one, but it doesn't
to me have any defining symbols of the US... It is important to provide
some readily recognizable symbols of the US, but I think U$ legal tender
would be a much better symbol, perhaps a map of some sort... I'd be
inclined to favor a burning US flag, but I suppose that would alienate a
lot of folks. Alternately, what about an upside down US flag, which is an
indication of distress, and shouldn't be interpreted as "anti-American",
except for by extreme right-wing weirdos, while at the same time not
alienating those folks who are afraid of indymedia.us becoming some sort
of pseudo-nationalistic site?
