Between these two, I find the first more catching.

As for the text, Indymedia.us is an easier, cooler url. And it should 
not have both English and Spanish terms in it. If we actually have 
content in Spanish, it should be available by a link, like 
http://www.indybay.org/espanol/. Unlike that site, which doesn't 
translate the navigation buttons, Indymedia.us/espanol should yield a 
modified banner with the terms in Spanish.

In fact, I think we should offer multiple banners, as part of 
multiple themes. If we leave the default one in place (the one that's 
on top of http://nyc.indymedia.org/  ) we could even let the hits 
that each one gets factor into our decision about which one to make 
the default.
