When you go to the open publishing page

there seem to be a couple of things missing.

1. Stepp 00 says, "Add some general tips on how to post stories." That's a note
to ourselves that would likely be pretty confusing to anyone else. For now, it
could just say, "Thanks for participating in Indymedia. If there is an IMC in
your area, please consider posting your article to that site." A link to the
cities list, if it exists somewhere in a useful form, could be included.

2. Step 02 invites people to choose a topic. Right now there aren't any. Can we
add, for starters, election2004?

Thanks again to the person or people that make these changes, if we think
they're good ideas.
