[IMC-US] global headlines on IMC-US [was PROPOSED: Arafat on the verge of death]

if people decide where they want it, i will come up with something
that pulls in a small number(3?) of the global features.

do we want to just pull in center column stories for global, or do we
want to try and grab the non-us syndicated stories as well?
