As many of you probably already know, Mobilization for Global Justice
has put out a call for protests at the annual meeting of the World
Bank and IMF this April, from the 15th through the 17th.

At the us-imc meting last night, it was decided to send out this email
in order to get a sense of which IMC's are planning to do what kind of
coverage, and, based on that information, figure out where US-IMC as a
working group could fit in.

Obviously DC Indymedia is probably going to be taking the lead in
keeping up with breaking news and so on. But there will be solidarity
actions across the country that may get more coverage on their local
imcs, and there may be good reports coming through other local imcs as
well. (To illustrate anecdotally what I'm trying to get at, while I
was trying to keep on top of the indymedia.us breaking news on M19, I
needed to listen to Portland's radio stream in order to find out what
was happening 10 blocks away from me in Baltimore)

So, if you can respond to the following questions promptly, we can
figure out what we're going to do:

1) Will there be a local solidarity action which your local IMC will
   be covering?

2) Is your local IMC planning any special coverage of the IMF-WB
   protests?

and a question for dc.indymedia:

What kind of infrastructure, if any, will you have available the
weekend of the 16th for media activists coming to town and looking to
plug in? What kinds of things do you need help with?
