[IMC-US] list roll call and other things!

Hi all, Sakura sent out a roll call the other day and that was 
excellent, thank you for jumping in a doing that!

So far, we have had 15 responses, and they are collected here:

Recently, I asked Sascha for the password to moderate the imc-us and 
imc-us-editorial list.  THis is something that I didnt want to do 
previously :-)  I dont think i really even want to do it now, but for 
the purposes of doing roll calls and such it is nice. 

THat in mind, there are 67 folks on the list!!!  It would be great if 
more folks could respond so we can get a feel or where is over and under 
represented.  That way we can move forward with some outreach to imc's 
that are underrepresented. 

THere are some things that are a bit pressing that we may want to think 
about a bit, now and after outreach.  Something that became blatantly 
obvious at the indyconference was that there is no decision making 
standard for this 'affinty-group' as its called, or for the general 
indy.us website.  I think this is a glaring oversight that leads to 
stagnation or unilateralism and then bad feelings.  I would rather not 
go that route.

It is great that things are starting to heat up, and folks are looking 
to get more involved.  I am really excited about the Taco Bell Truth 
Tour event page and the fact that folks are working on it!  Yeah!  I 
have been walking through those folks on how to interact with the admin 
interface and it is obvious that some write ups need to happen.  It is 
easier to do that when asked for something.  Hard to do when I am just 
trying to think of what to write up. 

COuld the folks that currently use admin look at it and see what may or 
may not be confusing to help this process along?

I recently got fired from my job as an outreach coordiantor.  Those that 
got business cards, please keep them, they are now relics.  THis means 
that I am devoting more time to the projects that I actually give a shit 
about and this is one of them, so feel free to harangue me with 
questions so that i can keep together some docs for current and future use.

Also, fromt he roll call there are a few folks that want admin access, 
and john or i can give that to you.  I dont know how to go about that.  
I dont personally think that multiple folks from a single imc really 
need that access, but wherever help comes from is great.  And, as 
previously noted, there is also no precedent for giving out access, 
except just giving it when caught on the phone or on irc.

OKay.  lots of words, lots of action!
