....and build up regional networks at the same time.
Currently, there are 21 IMC's represented (meaning they responded to
the recent roll call) on the IMC-US list. In order to get greater
participation in the indymedia.us website and to facilitate greater
community amongst the US IMC's, we would like to individually contact
the remaining IMC's and encourage them to get some representation on
the list.

The 36 IMC's that are not active on the US-IMC are:

atlanta austin binghamton boston
buffalo chicago colorado danbury, ct
dc hawaii houston hudson
mohawk idaho ithaca kansas city
la madison maine miami
milwaukee minneapolis/st.paul new hampshire
new jersey new orleans n. carolina philadelphia
pittsburgh rochester rogue valley santa barbara
seattle tallahassee-red hills tennessee
utah vermont worcester

If you are located near or already have contacts with one or more of
these IMC's, please volunteer to contact them and ask them to
participate in the US IMC network. Please ask the following questions
of the IMC that you contact.

1. Your working name/nickname
2. Your email address
3. Which imc you volunteer with?
4. What do you want to see happen, do you want to do, how much do you
want to participate, or any other comments/suggestions!
5. Which lists would you like to subscribe to (imc-us,
imc-us-process, and imc-us-editorial)
6. Do you want/have admin access to us.indymedia.org?

One of the objectives of the IMC-US list is to create a better
community amongst the US IMC's, so please write in about the general
health of your collecitve as well.

Thanks,
Sakura
