[IMC-US] the next hurricane - texas

hello indymedia.us folks,

vinny and i are headed to the george r brown center now and hope to 
follow the situation there. we have been told that everyone from the 
george r brown and reliant arena are being moved today to (i forget the 
exact name here...) Ellington Field (which is a military base) and from 
there are being put on planes to Arkansas.

The reason for this includes the storm RITA which is apparently heading 
to Texas. So, people from Galveston, TX are expected to now be sheltered 
in the goerge r brown and the reliant.

again, we are on our way to try and find out, so i am be mixing 
something up, but i think this is deal.
