Kate,
You may have already thought of these, but I figured I mention them
anyway.

1. Many of the requested pubs might be available simply by having folks
bring in their own issues. This might not work for time-sensitive stuff
like a daily paper.

2. We should avoid most duplication of items likely to be available at
UFL, since you folks are so close. Again, this may not work for some
publications for several reasons.

3. Many publications allow gift subscriptions to be made by subscribers
at a low rate, so we could solicit such from our members. If anyone
would like to do such during these timely holiday offers, let Kate or
the list know, so we can avoid duplication, and if it hasn't already
been taken care of, simply make a gift of it in the name of the UCIMC at
our PO Box 953, Urbana, IL 61803 address.
