Teach-in on the Free Trade Area of the Americas

On April 21, 2001, tens of thousands of activists from across North and South
America will descend on Quebec City to protest the latest round of
negotiations for the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA).  Find out what
the FTAA is, how it will affect your daily life, and why so many people want
to stop it.  Come to a teach-in on the FTAA at the Urbana-Champaign
Independent Media Center on Friday, April 6, 2001 at 7 PM.  The evening will
include information from speakers and artists on the FTAA, and donations will
be accepted to fund IMC coverage of the protests.  The Urbana-Champaign
