Dear friends,
I have been recently in Genova for 7 days, attending Genoa Public Forum and
the demonstrations on 19 and 21 July, the drammatic athmosphere on press
conference of 22nd afternoon, after the police riots the Diaz schools.

At the genoa Public Forum we partecipate with two lectures on the main
subjects:
* Fighting poverty and inequalities
* Our alternatives to globalisation

On the first lecture we propose 3 points to expand the antiglobalisation
movement:
* To create an antithesys agaist concentration of wealths
* Redifine the social and economic objectives. If capitalism is not good
what we want as alternative?
* Accelerate the development speed of our antiglobalisation movement around
the
world.

On the second lecture we propose 10 points against G8 policies.

For this we had several interviews (14) on TV and national radios.
On the Rai 3 channel our global secy told: "Our anti-gloablisation movement
is mature, protest only is not sufficient any more. We have to bring a
thirth way, an alternative to capitalism and comunism".
On BBC News the jounalist ask: "..... What about violence?" - Reply: "Until
exploitation will be there there will be always violence. If G8 and other
international bodies will not change their policies, people's revolution
might appened, you and we cannot do anything to stop it"

Because many groups feels the necessity to come down to political and
economic proposals, because only demonstrations 'against' are not suffcients
to mantain the unity of the antiglobal movement, we would like to propose an
international simposium in Europe, for the year 2002 to discuss about this
agenda, open to all the groups and movement who might agreed upon.

You might add, modify and delete points for the agenda of this international
meeting which we could titles as Universal Socialist Forum or whathever.

If you have any suggestion, proposals for the international coordinating
meeting, please send your suggestions.
