[Imc] IMC Construction Update

I finished the trim around the window to the front room in the media
production center. The room has been cleaned up and the green carpet
rolled back out.

The drainboard for the sink has been made and installed. Materials only
cost about six dollars- I will donate them, so no need for recompense.

Brian- I took my tools and tightened up your black chair. You won't need
to worry about that.

I brought in four more chairs and two more tables from my plastic lawn
furniture collection. Mike U. and I moved Maiko's unfolding table (seats
10-12) into the IMC, so I believe we are pretty well set for opening
night. We could still use some more-attractive-than-plastic tables and
chairs in the long term to replace my plastic stuff, which I will want
back when the weather improves.

The front door threshold has been fastened down. The door also seems to
seal up a little better at the bottom as a result.

I left my blinky X-mas lights on the front window ledge for those
decorating.

BTW, the new poster advertising the grand opening looks great. Thanx to
whoever made it.

I checked the fridge with a thermometer. The freezer goes to -10 F, so
it seems to be working fine. I turned the thermostat on the freezer to
about halfway, as it seems to be plenty cold and will use less energy
that way.

Note: I have removed my tools and tall ladder. Anyone planning on any
sort of destruction/construction needs to either bring their own tools
now or to contact me, if needed.

Note: I left the media production center locked, as there is already
some equipment in there. We should get in the practice of leaving it
locked from now on. If you need access, contact Sascha for the
combination, as he controls the keys, electronic or otherwise.
