[Imc] Proposal for IMC Group Structure

Ellen and I have written a proposal for creating the IMC's group 
structure.  We're attempting to break down our massive weekly meeting into 
the component working groups, while maintaining accountability and 
democratic consensus throughout the organization.

It's a 6 page document that I've attached in RTF, which is compatible with 
darn near every word processor since 1990.  I also posted it on a website 
for those of you who are reading your e-mail on a shell account.  The

On Thursday we will also post up a copy on the bulletin board at the IMC.

I know we're busy with the open house on Friday, but please take a moment 
to look it over.  If nothing else, please read the bullet pointed Summary 
at the beginning -- it's less than a page long and encapsulates everything 
in the proposal. The rest tries to explain and give perspective to the 
points in the Summary.

We've planned this Sunday's meeting to be about structure and breaking down 
the Sunday meeting, so I'm hoping we can spend the majority of the meeting 
time on beginning discussions on this and making some decisions. Since I'm 
facilitating, I plan to start this discussion at 12:45, unless someone 
objects or has  a better suggestion.
