To be in the parade you need to submit an application to the 4th of July 
committee.  The deadline is June 10th, and the fee is $25 for non-profits.

No offence towards the Greens (I'm a supporter), but I would not support 
the IMC sharing a parade spot. We need to be non-partisan for our 501(c)(3) 
status.  If the group is simply informal, with no implied or actual 
connection to the IMC, then I don't see a problem.
